Using Bubbles to Keep the Ocean Quiet 🤫
As sustainable enterprises continue to expand globally, environmentalist are actively collaborating to ensure biological interactions are minimally invasive, and one method is by keeping mechanisms quiet. Offshore wind turbines are attached to the seafloor, but produce residual sounds from engine components and disruption of underwater currents. To reduce foreign noises, researchers have been experimenting with bubble net perimeters to entrap sound pollution and protect surrounding ocean ambient environment. Read more
